SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME

Objectives

  • To support students from economically weaker backgrounds.

  • To reduce financial stress on families.

  • To encourage continued school attendance and academic progress.

  • To recognize students with good conduct and learning commitment.

  • Every year, we offer 3 (three) scholarships to meritorious but economically deprived students.

  • Out of these three scholarships, 2 (two) are meant for the H.S. First year students of the Science stream and 1 (one) for the H.S First year students of the Arts stream.

    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

(i) Must have secured a minimum of 90 % marks in aggregate in the last HSLC Examination of SEBA, and

(ii) Must belong to a family that is marked BPL (Below Poverty Line) as certified by the concerned Circle Officer.

  1. The scholarships shall be awarded strictly on a merit basis and in this regard, the decision of the Selection Committee, constituted by the Board of Trustees of Dr. Kabita Goswami Memorial Trust shall be final.

  2. The scholarships offer

(i) Free monthly college fees for the current academic session (June to May); and

(ii) Free 2nd installment of the admission fee for the first year.

  1. The above-stated offer, in Toto, shall apply to the awardee in the next consecutive session i,e in his/her 2nd year class provided he/she secures A-grade in the First Year Annual Examination of AHSEC.

  2. The awardee shall be deprived of the scholarship if he/she fails to secure A grade in the First Year Annual Examination of AHSEC.Every year, we offer 3 (three) scholarships to meritorious but economically deprived students.

  3. Out of these three scholarships, 2 (two) are meant for the H.S. First year students of the Science stream and 1 (one) for the H.S First year students of the Arts stream.

  4. To be eligible for applying for the scholarships, a student
