CLASS IX

Focus: Conceptual Depth & Board Examination Preparation
Students transition to a more subject-specialized approach, preparing for the (High School Secondary School Examination).

Applicants who have passed the Class 8 Examination (Class VIII) or Equivalent conducted by a recognized board with minimum 60% marks in aggregate are eligible for admission.

• Compulsory Subjects:

  • Language I: English

  • Language II: Hindi / Assamese

  • Mathematics (Standard or Basic)

  • Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology integrated)

  • Social Science (History, Geography, Political Science, Economics)

• Optional Fifth Subject: Computer Applications, Advance Mathematics, or a third language.

• Assessment: Continuous & Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) with 40% internal assessment and 60% final board weightage.Focus: Conceptual Depth & Board Examination Preparation

CLASS XI (Science)

*Science Stream: Minimum 60% aggregate in Class X; CBSE/CISCE candidates requires ≥ 7.0 CGPA.

Focus: Specialization & Career Readiness
Students choose one of two rigorous streams to align with their career aspirations. The curriculum is designed to meet the demands of JEE, NEET, CUET, and other national entrance examinations. The science stream is often preferred by those who are aspiring to pursue professional courses after 12th. The primary subjects in science stream are Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and Computer Science along with other subjects. English is compulsory along with a language subject (MIL) of choice. There are also practical lab sessions along with theory.

MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION

For the Science Stream of the Higher Secondary course, the medium of instruction is English**

IMPORTANT NOTE

We hold Extra English tutorial classes, as and when needed, to help students, coming from the Assamese medium schools, to cope with the English language. Many of our previous students who achieved brilliant success in the H.S. Science Stream and gained admission to government medical and engineering colleges of India had their education in Assamese medium schools up to the 10th class.

CLASS XI (Arts)

*Arts Stream: Minimum 50% aggregate in Class X; CBSE/CISCE candidates requires ≥ 6.0 CGPA.

CLASS XI (ARTS/HUMANITIES)

Focus: Specialization & Career Readiness

The career prospects in the Arts stream are extensive. You can choose for anything from National Defence Academy, civil services or IAS officer to subject-oriented graduation. Students can also opt for technical courses like Mass Communication, BCA/B.Arch. BBA, Fashion Designing or go for law courses as well.
